Broadfield Health Centre Trainers: Dr Jeremy Luke, Dr Amanda Molloy This is a four partner practice, two of whom are trainers, working from a modern Health Centre. The practice is actively involved in teaching medical students from St George’s. Two of the partners are police surgeons. The local police station is a holding area for many types of detainee. The registrar has an opportunity, if requested, to see many mental health cases. This practice has a strong commitment to an evidence based approach to medicine, and is always seeking new ways to do old tasks. The practice uses A4 records, compatible with Hospital records, and has a young population, providing extensive paediatric experience. A nurse triage system for same day appointments has recently been introduced. updated August 2001 |
